“ This place has a very warm and cozy vibe that made us feel right at home. We sat at the bar and received great service. Ordered the Toad in the Hole which was quite tasty and satisfying. The fries are good too. We tried a couple of the beers and while they werent anything special, they were still good. ”

“ Staff was extremely friendly! The house brewed beers were delicious I liked the Regal Lager a lot!. The chicken thighs were a little on the bland side, but if dipped in the honey balsamic dressing, it really popped! My dining companion loved the meatloaf and mashed potatoes with gravy. I also got a scoop of ice cream that was probably 12 a pint! The restaurant was comfortable and probably 12 full at the time. We were seated immediately without a reservation. For context, Im from a more populated area in NY but not NYC!, so Im used to having a wait at a restaurant. Ill definitely return on a future trip to Burlington! ”

“ We had a great dining experience at Vermont Pub and Brewery! We arrived a few minutes before they opened and someone popped outside to let us know theyd be right with us. We were seated at a table by the window, which was nice since we were just visiting the area for the first time and could look around a little. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, and to be quite honest, everyone was. If someone walked past and saw that there were plates to clear, an empty glass, or it looked like you needed something, they jumped right in. They run like a welloiled machine, especially considering how quickly they fill up and are busy. Everything was delicious, but we all agree that the star of the show for us was the poutine! Rich gravy and ooey gooey cheese curds atop a bed of crispy fries...annnnd we added bacon. Just a plate full of YUM! Im pretty sure the table behind us immediately ordered a second plate as soon as they finished theirs. We also ordered the light, fluffy pretzel bites, which came with a perfect portion of both cheese sauce and grain mustard. My shepherds pie was hearty and extremely flavorful. I am an eater and I got two meals out of it. It was perfect comfort food on what was a rainy, somewhat chilly afternoon and I love that they use local ingredients that we could then try. I dont remember the name of my beer, but it was raspberry and it was delightful! Hubs got the toad in the hole and really enjoyed it, again getting to try a unique combo of local ingredients AND getting two meals out of it while being a good eater. From start to finish, we enjoyed our experience and would absolutely eat here again...and you can bet well be starting with that poutine!! ”

“ Love the choices of beers and food. Always makes a great spot for lunch, whether inside or outside. The staff is friendly and our server, a young guy, was really nice and had a wonderful and pleasant demeanor. We had the buffalo tenders, side salad, chicken thighs, potato salad, all amazing. The beer Thunderhead, dark with caramel flavors is refreshing and delicious. The blue Irish ale is a light and mellow flavor and also very tasty. The carrot cake dessert was rich, delicate, appealing and mouthwatering, you have to have it!! ”

“ Parking can be tricky but once parked we found accessible entrance on St. Paul street. We sat at the bar and service was excellent with great beer suggestions and service. There is also a handicap bathroom on main level. We enjoyed a mixed greens salad with the meatloaf. Everything was delicious . ”

“ I highly recommend visiting! Greeted with a friendly hello and were welcome to pick a place to sit. Cool decor very classy and cozy. The menu has so many options. The Gem IPA was delicious boasting of juicy fruit and paired nicely with the chicken pot pie. The crust was flaky and perfectly prepared. The portabella burger tender and savory was served with crispy hot fries. Delicious lunch! Our server was so nice and engaging. Awesome experience! ”

“ The Vermont Pub Brewery turned out to be a delicious find in a sea of too many choices. The adorable waiter was both knowledgeable and upsold us to purchase the Chefs delectable homemade sauces which included the Dijon sauce used in their homemade potato salad which was OUT IF THIS WORLD and the house honey chili pepper vinaigrette, which OMG you can spread it in toast, or use it to drench a salad and WOW what an amazing flavor! We ordered the fish and brew fries with the most delicious tartar sauce Ive ever tasted, let alone wanted to put in my mouth! The grilled chicken thighs with potato salad and marinated charred white beets were OUT OF THIS WORLD! Loved our experience, food and the fantastic staff at this local Burlington favorite restaurant! ”
